TopShop approached The Department Store in February this year, having chosen the new Takapuna landmark as the one place they believed the brand could be launched in New Zealand.
As any discerning fashion observer will know, TopShop is the retailer that has been mimicked the world over, and their recent history of designer collaborations, fashion week launches and moves into new territories has meant the brand's strength has risen to cult status.
In a nod to New Zealand's growing and significantly 'brand aware' market, TopShop will deliver all of their shipments to New Zealand in line with when their global flagship stores launch them, meaning we won't wait for TopShop by Kate Moss, TopShop UNIQUE or TopShop Boutique."
