Voyaged to the heart of Aotearoa, Wellington City..Coming back home is always golden, weather on first day was well below negative sevens or eights, pure artic. Skied down cuba street to see Allure city play at Mighty Mighty on a Thursday ..Nothing warms the heart more than seeing mates pull through with an solid gig. Crowd was epic and all bands on form.

Welcome to Allure city. Population: Three.

Last Friday I took time from doing nothing, prying my lifeless body from the PS. Slapping pants on we headed to Stevens band practice within minutes we arrived, beers in hand. Climbing the gloomy steps leading into to the studio we were greeted with paint splattered art, sculptures and doll heads wall to wall.

Allure City consists of three honest trouble makers who began in a small town somewhere in the pits on rural NZ. Stevens (Bass/50/50 character), Lewis (Lead Singer/Stud) and Puppet (Drummer/Seagull).
